- My name is Jessica and I recently hit that tumultuous time in our existence known as "mid-life". Yes, I'm 40 now and as it turns out, things really do start to change, and not really for the better. Lines on my face, lumps at my waist, aches and pains all over the place. But, I want to make the most of this point in my life. I have two precious daughters that are looking to me for inspiration, support, and knowledge, and I want to give them a role model they can be proud of and still want to hang out with occasionally on the weekends. My hope is to share with you a variety of things that make a difference in our lives, create amusement and fun, keep us looking and feeling younger, and make the world a little more beautiful. As a mom, wife, crafter, medical professional, and friend, I plan to use this space to explore and gather inspiration. Thank you for stopping by!

We just went to the doctor today for our 2 month check up too. She's 13 pounds 9 ounces and 23.5 inches long! Big girl! Doctor was amazed at her strength too. She got her first shots, but handled it just as well as big sis did.
